Morocco
Mohamed Ouabhi led the Morrocan U20 team to World Cup glory in 2025 and since taking charge of the Full national team in March 2026 he has continued to bring success to the nation. They arguably deserved more than the point they picked up in a 1-1 draw with Brazil in the opening match.
They did claim the three points in Game 2 when a 2nd Minute strike from Bayern Munich bound Ismael Saibari gave them a 1-0 win over Scotland in Boston. They looked very solid after taking the lead and could have added to their lead numerous times.
With four points on the board they have already secured a place in the knockout stages but facing the weakest team in the group now gives them a superb chance to top the group. Winning the group would give them an easier last 32 tie.
Injuries & Team News
There were no injury issues to come out of the Scotland match so Ouahbi has a fully fit squad to pick from for the clash in Atlanta.
Ayyoub Bouaddi is one of the young stars of the Tournament and he is likely to keep his place in midfield alongside Azzedine Ounahi & Neil El Aynaoui. Sofyan Amrabat will once again have to start on the bench.
With Brahim Diaz & Saibari again in advanced attacking positions it could be a third successive unchanged team named by Ouabhi.

Haiti were surprise qualifiers for this 2026 World Cup and they were handed the toughest of draws in Group B along with Brazil, Morocco & Scotland, all three a lot higher in the FIFA World Rankings. That gulf in class has been evident so far.
In their first appearance at the World Cup since 1974 they fell to a 1-0 defeat to Scotland in Boston thanks to a solitary John McGinn goal, in truth other than the final few minutes they failed to throw many punches.
They found it much tougher on Matchday 2 against 5 times world champions Brazil in Philadelphia, Matheus Cunha scoring twice for The Selecao with Vinicius Jr adding a third before half time. They performed better in the second half to lose just 3-0.
